Security and your account

Keep your account secure and know exactly how to recover it.

Two-step verification

1. Go to your Security page.
2. Under Two-step verification, scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
3. Enter a code from the app to confirm.

Staff and workspace owners must complete two-step verification.

Recovery codes

Once verification is on, you can generate recovery codes. Store them somewhere safe — if you lose your device, a recovery code is how you get back in.

Changing your email

1. On the Security page, use the Email address card.
2. Enter the new email and your current password.
3. A verification link is emailed to the new address.
4. Click it within an hour — your email changes only after you confirm.

Your old email keeps working until the change is confirmed.

Changing your password

1. On the Security page, use the Password card.
2. A verification code is emailed to you first.
3. Enter it, then your current and new passwords.

Sessions

Your session stays signed in across the app and admin consoles. Sign out when you finish on a shared device.
